Forgotten Lies follows the lives of four siblings who were orphaned when they were young after their parents were killed. They find a permanent foster home in Los Angeles where they start to grow up and make new friends. However, as they enter high school, they become involved in various adventures that eventually flush out their parents’ past. This blast from the past begins to haunt them and they must confront it head on when they learn that there was more to their parents’ murder than was let on.

 

Dance of the Marionettes is the first book in the series and follows the family as they begin their sophomore year of high school. The family enjoys time meeting some new friends and looking forward to Halloween. However, one sibling meets a girl who hides a dark secret. This secret eventually brings the Halloween nightmare to life for the family.
